Once all the wedding excitement had died down, I absolutely couldn't wait to see our album, so Mr. Turtle and I picked the images for it very quickly, and it was in our hands just four months after our wedding day! And then, we all lived happily ever after...
But wait... what's this?
A baby KISS book? And it's pink! Exactly! ;) A couple months after our wedding, our photographer, Chloe, contacted me to let me know that KISS was coming out with 4"x 4" "little KISSes", and their photography studio wanted to use our wedding as their sample. Since the books come in sets of two, they offered the extra one to us for just fifty dollars! Um... yes, please!
We didn't get to pick the photos for this one, but it's fun to see which images were our photographer's favorites. The little KISS is the perfect album to carry around in my purse and whip out whenever anyone mentions our wedding. (Wait, you just said 'wedding,' right? Well you're in luck! Check this out!)
Notice the way in which my iPhone gives you a realistic impression of the scale of both albums.
If you have the option of getting a KISS book for your wedding album, I recommend them 100%! The only thing I must mention is that KISS works exclusively with photographers, meaning that the photography studio we worked with designed all layouts for both books and submitted them to KISS. If you want to see some more examples, Mrs. Taco and Mrs. Avocado have also shared their beautiful KISS books with the hive.
Even though we have finally moved on from our wedding, going through our album on our first wedding anniversary had a magical way of bringing the whole day back to life. We reminisced about the little moments and remarked on how much we have already changed since that day. Each year, opening it up again will feel more magical, and it warms my heart to imagine our album being passed down through generations as a treasured family heirloom. An album like ours is definitely considered a splurge, but I cannot emphasize enough how much its significance to us is worth every penny.
Tell me about your album experiences! Did you order through your photographer, make your own, or have you yet to get there yet?
